The bishop of the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia seeks a full-time incumbent for the parish of Holy Trinity, North Saanich (greater Victoria area).
The Diocese of British Columbia is an equitable employer that operates with humility and gratitude to the First Peoples of Turtle Island on whose traditional lands we work and play. We are a regional expression of the Anglican Church of Canada, part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and one part of the whole body of Christ. We are a progressive church where seekers are welcome to receive communion, baptism, marriage, and ordination on an equal basis. The parish of Holy Trinity is one of twenty-four Anglican parishes in the greater Victoria area and one of forty-six diocesan parishes extending across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands of the Salish Sea and Kingcome Inlet.
Holy Trinity is a community of approximately 250 active parishioners centred around the eucharist and actively seeking to act as a tangible witness of God's love through Christian outreach. The parish strives to be an open and affirming community of Christians that welcomes anyone seeking companionship, spiritual nourishment and opportunity for worship. The parish worships on the traditional lands of the Saanich First Nations and their ministry of "companion journeying" is integral to the identity of the parish.
If your priestly vocation aligns with where God seems to be leading Holy Trinity, we want to hear from you. The parish profile can be obtained from Tara Saracuse, executive assistant to the bishop. Deadline for applications is October 20, 2021.
