Are you longing for some serenity after the busy Christmas rush? A moment to take in the beauty of the season and reflect on the cusp of a new year? Why not plan to join us for a relaxing afternoon of flute and harp music? This is a drop-in event: come in or go for whatever time you would like. There is no applause but you will be bathed in lovely music for an hour or so. Wine and cheese will be included.

This is the perfect time to bring friends and family to join in on this beautiful moment.

Denis Donnelly, harpist, is well known in his roles of conductor of Gettin’ Higher Choir, Soundings, and Wavelengths and is an authority on folk music. Lanny Pollet, flutist, is the retired flute professor and head of performance at UVic, and loves to explore this Celtic repertoire on various flutes. The two musicians have partnered on this music for 25 years, and we are fortunate to welcome them to St. George’s.

Admission by donation.
